New Client FAQs

A: Yes. All new skincare clients begin with a consultation so I can assess your skin, review your routine, and create a customized plan. I do not offer same-day treatments after consultations. Instead, you’ll receive a mini treatment and product testing so you know exactly what to expect when you return for your first full treatment.

A: Your consultation includes a skin assessment, lifestyle review, customized homecare recommendations, and a mini treatment. You’ll use your homecare for 2–4 weeks before your first full treatment so your skin is properly prepped.

A: Yes. Come as you are! I always cleanse your skin thoroughly during your service.

A: Yes. Teens are welcome for skincare and acne guidance. A parent or guardian must be present for the consultation.

Waxing FAQs

A: At least ¼ inch, or about 2–3 weeks of growth, for the best result.

A: Some discomfort is normal, but it becomes easier after every appointment. Consistency is key! I use techniques and high-quality wax to make the experience more comfortable.

A: Every 4–6 weeks for best results and fewer ingrown hairs.

A: Exfoliate 2–3 times per week, moisturize regularly, recommend avoiding exercise and tight clothing immediately after waxing. I carry products that help prevent and treat ingrowns for you to use between visits.

A: Not on the face. Retinoids and some acne prescriptions make the skin too sensitive. Always tell me what you’re using before your service.

A: Yes, full disclosure you may feel more sensitive on or around your cycle. It is manageable, so do not let that discourage you. A tampon, menstrual cup, or disc must be worn for comfort and sanitation.

Acne Program FAQs

A: My Acne Program includes acne-safe homecare, professional treatments, lifestyle guidance, and ongoing support. While I primarily use Face Reality, I may incorporate other acne-safe lines when needed.

A: Most clients notice improvement within 4–8 weeks, with clearer, calmer skin by 12-16 weeks when following their plan consistently.

A: Yes. Correct homecare and guided use of active products are essential for safely clearing acne.

Facials & Treatments

A: You don’t need to choose ahead of time. Every facial is customized to your skin’s needs during your visit.

A: Most facials are relaxing. Extractions may feel slightly uncomfortable, but I work gently and communicate throughout the process.

A: Sometimes. Clearing congestion or repairing the skin barrier may cause temporary breakouts. I’ll guide you through what to expect.

A: It’s great for many skin types but not recommended for active or inflamed acne. We can decide together at your consultation.

A: Yes. I have pregnancy and breastfeeding safe skincare options. Pregnancy does not have to hinder your clear skin journey.

A: It depends. Most hydrating facials allow makeup after about two hours. Corrective treatments may require waiting up to 24 hours. If you want to be able to wear makeup the same day, let me know. I can adjust your treatment or recommend Colorescience SPF makeup that’s safe immediately after.
Products & Online Store

Many general skincare items are available without an appointment. Products containing active ingredients (especially acne-focused products) are password protected in my online shop and require guidance for safe, effective use.

Yes. I offer both shipping and scheduled pickup.
Shipping:
• Orders placed during work hours generally ship within 24 hours.
• Shipped using USPS Priority Mail (3-day).
• Same-day shipping may not be available if I’m with clients.
• If I am off or out of town, all orders will be processed once I return.Local Pickup:
• After placing your order, please text my business number with your preferred pickup day and time.
• 1–2 days’ notice is preferred, but same-day pickup may be possible depending on my schedule.
• I will confirm availability once I receive your message.
• Pickup is always scheduled. No walk-in retail hours. -

Studio Policies

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment incur a 50% charge. No-shows incur a 100% charge. A card on file is required to schedule.

Yes. Ohio requires sales tax on all services and retail products, which will be added when checking out.

Yes! I currently offer digital gift cards only. You can purchase in person or online through Vagaro.
